The Knights of Columbus will donate a portion of the proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast to the Garden of Innocence in San Diego. What is the Garden of Innocence, you ask? Once a child is found either abandoned or unidentified, take “The Garden” takes over its care. They give the child a loving goodbye. The moment the county tells us they have a child for our garden, they step forward and do what is right. They are non-denominational. Every faith, every nationality, is welcome in this garden; they are color blind. They reach out to our little babies and love them when no one else did and do what God expects— send home His little child with the love and dignity of family and friends. Additionally, through the generous donations of the congregation, the Knights were able to give Birth Choice $100 to assist them with costs associated with the services they provide. The Free ultra- sound and pregnancy counseling van will be parking in the Star of the Sea Center parking lot (south side) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Your K of C Council is proud to partner with Birth Choice in protecting the lives of all un- born children.
